Imagine a place where you can escape, relax and unwind from your usual busy and full lives. A place where your children of all abilities are welcome to come and reconnect with nature and friendly farm animals. A place for families to come and reset.
We have 2 daughters on the Autism Spectrum and we came to realise that there was a lack of places available that truly accommodate families so our vision in creating this farm stay was to give families like ours a safe, fun and memorable holiday where all children are not just welcomed but accepted just as they are. A respite from their usual lives and place where families can feel at home during their stay. A mini home away from home.
Lilly Rose Farmstay has been operating since December 2021 and have already hosted hundreds of children and their families and we have so much joy in sharing our little personal sanctuary with other families.
We are a small hobby farm set on 9 acres on the foothill of a mountain 20 kms east of Bathurst and an easy 2hr drive from Western Sydney. We are not a working farm as such so there are no noisy and unsafe farm equipment operating but instead have a small herd of hand raised friendly farm animals that are accessible at all times to feed and interact with. Some of our animals include ponies, sheep, goats, alpacas, dogs, a pig, ducks, chickens, fish and a bird (and we're always adding more to our farm-ily).
Private self-contained 2-bedroom cabin (separate from the main house) in a fully fenced private yard. Sleeps 4 people comfortably however can accommodate up to 6 people snuggly (we strongly recommend contacting us prior to booking 6 people to discuss possible bedding configurations and whether that would be suitable to your needs).
